The rolling pin is made of European beech wood.

Very high quality rolling pins. I'm glad I found this ship as I was looking for these embossed rolling pins when I visited Poland last Fall, but I only found the cheap "tourist" ones - glad I didn't give in and buy them as these are 200%+ better than in the tourist shops. I'm posting my first batch of cookies and this is my first using embossed rolling pins. Items were shipped fast, but were held in France for a while. I ordered on 11/20 and arrived 12/12 via FedEx. I live in California and did not pay any additional costs besides the original shipping costs. Shipment traveled through 2-3 countries before reaching the U.S.

I am so thrilled with these beautiful rolling pins! I bought 2 for gifts and I will keep one. High quality, packed extremely well for the journey from Poland to British Columbia, Canada. I was even surprised by how fast my order arrived despite shipping delays due to floods. Kasia, the seller, was very responsive, friendly and even included a sweet gift with my order.
